Frogs

Frogs are amphibian in the order anura, which are cold-blooded vertebrate animals and have semi-aquatic lifestyle.
The order anura contains over 5.000 species in 33 families, which means about 88% of amphibian species are frogs.
Frogs have metamorphosis with few different stages in their life : egg, fish-like tadpole, tadpole with legs, young frog and finally an adult frog.
Adult frogs have long and powerful hind legs, a short body, webbed digits, protruding eyes and are tailess.
In the tadpole stage of frogs, they live in water and have gills for breathing.
Frogs breathe through their skin as well as their lungs in adult frogs.
Almost all species of adult frogs are carnivorous diet.
They mainly eat insects for diet, and also small animals like earthworms, minnows and spiders too. Most of the frogs have sticky tongue for catching the insects.
The frog whizzes out its tongue rapidly, sticks the insect and retracts it back to its mouth, just within a second. Most of the species like to hunt at night.
Frogs can absorb water through their skin so they don't need to drink from mouth. Frogs are long jump experts, some of them can jump up to 2
0 times their own body length in a single leap, toads do not jump, but walk. Toads do not have the long and strong hind legs as frogs.
Each species of frogs and toads has a distinct breeding call, which for enticing females to join them for mating. Their concerts always open at night.

A : The world record is held by a frog called "Rosie the Ribiter" from California. It jumped more than 6.5 m (21 feet) in 1985

Q : Which kind of the frog is the largest in the world ?
A : The goliath frog which is found in West Africa is the largest species in the world. It can grow up to 33cm(13 inches) long from head to vent, and weighs up to 3 kg (7 lbs). It so also an endangered species too.

Drama

Drama adalah salah satu karya sastra yang mempertunjukan sifat atau budi pekerti dengan gerak, mimik muka (ekspresi), dan dialog antartokoh. Dalam sebuah drama, unsur-unsur intrinsik dapat diketahui pada gambaran di pentas ataupun pada prolog.

Kata drama berasal dari bahasa Yunani yaitu "Draomai" yang berarti berbuat, berlaku, bertindak, atau bereaksi. Selain itu, drama dapat dikatakan sebagai bentuk karya sastra yang mempertunjukan sifat atau budi pekerti manusia dengan gerak dan percakapan yang dipentaskan.
(Maklum, penjelasan tentang sesuwatu itu banyak sekali dan berbeda-beda pula. Tapi biar mudah kita ambil intinya saja.)

Pemamparan cerita dalam drama diwujudkan dalam bentuk percakapan atau dialog yang diperankan oleh tokoh (pelaku).

Berdasarkan perannya terhadap jalan cerita, tokoh dalam drama dibedajan menjadi :
-Tokoh Protagonis, tokoh yang mendukung cerita (tokoh baik).
-Tokoh Antagonis, tokoh penentang cerita (tokoh jahat).
-Tokoh tritagonis, tokoh pembantu tokoh protagonis dan antagonis (tokoh baik dan jahat).

Berdasarkan peranan dalam lakon serta fungsinya, tokoh drama dibedakan menjadi tokoh :
-Sentral, adalah tokoh yang menentukan gerak lakon.
-Utama, adalah tokoh yang mendukung ataupun menentang tokoh sentral.
-Pembantu, adalah tokoh yang memegang peran pelengkap atau tambahan dalam rangkaian cerita.

Unsur-unsur intrinsik yang terdapat dalam drama :

-Tema dan Amanat, Tema adalah dasar atau makna suatu cerita atau dram. Sedangkan, amanat merupakan pesan yang ingin disampaikan oleh penulis/pengarang. Kehadiran tema dan amanat biasanya bersamaan. Tema merupakan suatu rangkaian perasaan tertentu tentang kehidupan atau nilai-nilai tertentu dalam kehidupan yang membangun suatu karya sastra. Berdasarkan tema tersebut akan muncul amanat atau pesan dari drama.

-Alur atau Plot, Alur atau Plot adalah suatu rangkaian peristiwa yang dialami oleh tokoh-tokoh dalam suatu cerita atau drama. Alur dalam cerita drama terdiri atas permulaan (eksposisi), pertengahan (komplikasi), dan akhir (resolusi).


-Penokohan atau Perwatakan, penokohan atau perwatakan merupakan karakter pada setiap tokoh dalam drama tersebut.

-Setting atau Latar, Setting atau latar adalah suasana, waktu, dan tempat terjadinya suatu peristiwa dalam drama atau cerita. Dalam sebuah drama, kehadiran setting atau latar dapat dilihat dari background panggung, tata cahaya, ataupun pakaian para tokoh.

-Dialog, Dialog merupakan bahasa yang digunakan dalam drama, walaupun ada drama yang tidak menggunakan dialog dan hanya mengandalkan gerak tubuh dan ekspresi wajah/mimik.

James Owen Sullivan yang lahir pada 9 Februari 1981 - meninggal 28 Desember 2009 pada umur 28 tahun, lebih dikenal dengan nama The Rev atau The Reverend Tholomew Plague adalah seorang Drummer sekaligus penyanyi latar untuk grup band avenged sevenfold. The rev juga menjadi lead vokal pada grup band pinkly smooth.

Kehidupan Pribadi

Jimmy memperoleh sepasang stik drum pada usia lima tahun, dan ia menerima drumnya sendiri pada usia sepuluh tahun. Hanya dalam waktu satu tahun, dia sudah bermain "The Black Page" dengan mahasiswa dalam ansambel perkusi yang dilakukan oleh gurunya.

Di SMA, bergabung dengan Avenged Sevenfold sebagai salah satu anggota pendiri band ini.
Jimmy adalah drummer band beraliran ska band Suburban Legends.
Pada usia 18 tahun dia merekam album pertama a7x dengan judul "Sounding The Seventh Trumpet". Kemudian dalam hidupnya ia dipengaruhi oleh drumer vinnie paul, mike portnoy, dan Terry Bozzio. Dia bahkan memiliki pengaruh "visual" Tommy Lee, dimana ia berkomentar bahwa "saya tidak menyangka akan memiliki salah satu dari mereka." Kemampuan Jimmy yang disebutnya "The Double-ride" adalah suatu teknik yang dapat didengar pada lagu "Almost Easy" dimana dia bermain ganda sampai pada tempo cepat antara double bass dan cymbal naik. Perusahaan drum "Drum workshop" mengesahkan the rev dan berkata dia bisa punya drum yang ia inginkan, sehingga memilih double bass drum, yang ia lebih pilih daripada double bass pedal.

Biografi

Pada DVD a7x yang berjudul All Excess, zacky mengatakan bahwa sebelum dia memasuki a7x, dia sempat menjadi anggota dari grup band beraliran punk rock bernama MPA atau Mad Porno Action yang gagal mencapai sukses. Maka dari itu Zacky bersama dengan M. Shadows membentuk avenged sevenfold.

Zacky memplajari cara bermain gitar ketika dia berumur tiga belas tahun. Dia belajar secara otodidak (persis banget kaya gue, gue juga belajar otodidak pada umur 13 tahun.., hehe moga" gue bisa seperti zacky ). Gitar yang pertama kali ia gunakan adalah gitar ayahnya.

Brian adalah anak pertama. Dia mempunyai adik bernama Brent, Jhonny, dan McKenna. Ayahnya, Brian Elwin Haner Sr. (biasa dipanggil dengan nama papa Gates), adalah seorang pelawak dan gitaris profesional. Ibu kamdungnya bernama Jan. Ibu tirinya, Suzy adalah seorang ahli hipnotis.

Orang tua Syn cerai ketika Syn berumur sepuluh tahun. Dua tahun kemudian, ayahnya menikah dengan Suzy.

Biografi

Syn mendapatkan gitar pertamanya dari nenek dan kakeknya. Salah satu lagu pertama yang ia pelajari adalah lagu stairway to heaven dari Led Zepplin. Ketika Syn duduk di kelas 6, ia sudah bisa menebak chord dari sebuah lagu hanya dengan menggunakan pendengarannya. Setelah Syn diberi gitar. Ia mengatakan bahwa sekolah sudah tidak ada gunanya. Nilai bagus hanya ia peroleh sampai ia duduk di kelas 4.

Syn memasuki grup band a7x sebagai gitaris ketika berumur 18 tahun di akhir 1999 (ya sekitar 2000an sebenarnya). Dia juga memainkan piano pada lagu "Beast and the Harlot" dan "Sidewinder".

Biografi

Pada masa kecilnya, Matt seringkali di keluarkan dari sekolahnya karena dia berkali kali melakukan kekerasan. Sebelum bernyanyi, Matt bermain bass. Dan 3 kali operasi karena pita suaranya putus. Matt di fonis dokter tidak bisa bernyanyi namun kenyataannya dia dapat bernyanyi sampai sekarang.

Awal karier Matt, ketika ia bergabung dengan band "Succesful Failure" ia memainkan instrumen keyboad dan vokalis. Di tahun yang sama, Matt bergabung dengan Avenged Sevenfold bersama dengan Zacky Vengeance.
